Monday, September 1 – LABOR DAY
Join the Rock Island County Democrats for our 56th Annual Salute to Labor Picnic! There will be good food & drinks, excellent speakers, and fun for your kids. If you’re going to celebrate Labor Day, Rock Island County is the place to be!

You can pick up your tickets at the Rock Island County Democrats office: 218 18th St, Rock Island; or you can pick up your tickets at the Labor Day Picnic.

LOCATION: Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council, 424 Carpenter Court, East Moline, IL 61244.

12:00 PM – doors open, food served
1:00 PM – speaking program begins
3:00 PM – drawdown raffle

FOOD: MEAT EATERS: Pulled pork sandwiches, chips, potato salad, and coleslaw. KIDS: hotdogs (optional) PLANT-BASED: Impossible burgers, chips, 3 bean salad, and marinated veggies. DRINKS: water, pop, beer (21 and up)

DRAWDOWN RAFFLE: $5,000 – GRAND PRIZE, $1,000 (2 prizes), $500 (4 prizes), $250 (4 prizes). Only 250 tickets will be sold. You do not need to be present to win. Drawdown tickets are $100 each.
